Last night The Internet, a soul band consisting of members from Odd Future and many others, made their network television debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Los Angeles based group performed "Under Control" from their 2015 album release 'Ego Death'.

Ty Segall, singer-songwriter from Laguna Beach, California has released a new solo LP titled 'Emotional Mugger'. The creative garage rock artist has issued his record label, Drag City Records, to mail out copies of the album in VHS videotape format.
The current VHS format of the album opens with a Columbia Tristar Home Video title page displaying "Coming Soon To A Theater Near You". After the 11-track album is played in full, Ty Segall included a 1993 hit drama starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman titled 'My Life'.
Although there are no details regarding an official digital or physical CD/Vinyl release of the LP you can visit emotionalmugger.com and hear what Ty himself has to say about the new album.

The American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known as Prince has announced that he will be embarking on the international Piano & A Microphone Tour. The tour will be taking place November 21st through December 22nd, 2015 and consists of sixteen dates in ten different countries. Prince's live concert in this ambitious tour will be an intimate solo performance of Prince, one microphone, and one piano without a full band.
Prince gave a statement about the upcoming tour saying, "Why do this now? For several reasons. For starters it is a challenge. I rarely get bad reviews because this is something that's been perfected for over thirty years. You have to try new things. With the piano it is more naked, more pure. You can see exactly what you get."
