Fleet Foxes Confirm First U.S. Date In Six Years

Fleet Foxes, what we consider to be the ultimate folk band of our generation, has just officially confirmed their first U.S. performance in over six years. The group went on hiatus where lead vocalist, Robin Pecknold gave an attempt at school and drummer, Josh Tillman, currently known as Father John Misty went his own musical direction with immense success.

It has been rumored over the past few months that Fleet Foxes will embark on an entire 2017 U.S. tour while this just may be the first glimpse of what's to come. Newport Folk Festival, has recently revealed a couple artists on the anticipated bill and we are happy to see our boys Fleet Foxes and the talented Margaret Glaspy both headlining this year's event in Newport, Rhode Island. Catch Fleet Foxes bringing the Northeast a special treat on the main stage Friday July 28th.

Unfortunately, Newport Folk Festival is already completely SOLD OUT. If you absolutely need to go to this once in a lifetime intimate folk gig, find your tickets through a fan-to-fan ticket exchange LYTE here.

For now let's keep our fingers crossed for more Fleet Foxes in our near future!
