Everything To Know About Karoondinha

Karoondinha is a newly cultivated four day-and-night music, arts, camping, and nature based festival taking place at the notorious Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania July 21st - 23rd, 2017. As we begin to see many major inaugural festivals hit the market this year, Karoondinha is honestly the most unique in our eyes.

For the record, the correct pronunciation for this multi-visual event is: Ka - roon - din - ha, probably the exact way you initially read it.

Just to begin, the location is by far nothing like we've seen before. If you haven't heard of Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park, you need to look it up. As a Karoondinha attendee, the park has created a special underground boat tour where you can explore a historic cave in operation since 1885, just steps away from the main stage.

Become one with nature, and this time we really mean it... Experience a wildlife tour like never before with elk, bison, wolves, mustangs, mountain lions and many more exotic animals by taking a tour and enjoying the history the grounds truly hold.

Karoondinha has also successfully curated one of the most powerful lineups of 2017 with headliners including Chance The Rapper, John Legend, Odesza, and Paramore. It's hard to even look at these acts because these are all leading artists in each of their specific genres!

We're seriously flabbergasted at the rest of the artists this festival has to offer. Take the time to dig into some of our all time favorite acts such as The Roots, Dillon Francis, Young The Giant, Porter Robinson, Chromeo, Sturgill Simpson, Leon Bridges, The Revivalists, Alunageorge, Marian Hill, Broods, St. Lucia, Coin, PVRIS, and so many more.

Not only does Karoondinha hit the nail on the head with making an extremely diverse lineup in music but you can expect a plethora of visual arts, culinary arts (for your food connoisseur needs), workshops including yoga, meditation, and fitness, along with the most memorable experience of the year spent under the stars with your best friends.

As perfectly stated by Karoondinha themselves; "Welcome to a place like no other, a place that reminds you of the important things in life, maybe over-looked, dimmed, or forgotten. A place where music and nature come together to help you reconnect to your own inner brightness. An authentic place to connect with yourself and others."

We guarantee you this festival will be here to stay and are absolutely ecstatic of what is to come for the inaugural celebration. Come take a vacation for the soul with us July 21st - 23rd. Tickets are going for as LOW as $279 for a 3-Day GA pass which you can find here.

This is 100% a must go-to event people. Start getting everything together right now because you're going to Pennsylvania this summer!

We Love You Gregg Allman!

Gregg Allman, the legendary southern rock musician / singer-songwriter, has unfortunately lost his life today at the very young age of 69 years old in the comfort of his own home. Gregg has been fighting liver cancer and lost his strong battle this afternoon in Savannah, Georgia.

As many know, Gregg Allman was an absolute expert at his craft while being known for putting together the iconic southern act, Allman Brothers Band. The Allman Brothers Band thrived in the late sixties all the way through very recent years. From playing events with Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan, to headlining major fests including Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Florida.

The history goes on forever with these guys and the fact the drummer of the group, Butch Trucks, recently passed away from suicide back in January, makes it all more difficult for fans and musicians alike.

Gregg Allman has toured the world for over 45 years continuing to spill his heart and soul into his undying love for music. Even when The Allman Brothers Band officially split, Gregg never stopped touring under his solo act. On a weekend like Memorial Day, it's extremely important to be thankful for every moment we have on this Earth and celebrate our country especially with the leading pioneer of Southern American Rock and Roll music, Gregg Allman.

Enjoy some of the highlighted moments from the past few years and all time classics below. Rest In Peace Gregg. WE LOVE YOU!
