Father John Misty Announces 2017 World Tour Dates

California based singer-songwriter, Josh Tillman also known as Father John Misty, will be embarking on a 2017 world tour beginning mid April and going all the way through late November. Misty's third studio album, Pure Comedy, is due for release THIS Friday April 7th via Sub Pop / Bella Union Records.

You now have the chance to witness one of the most anticipated solo artists and his epic band hit international venues in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Asia, throughout many UK countries, and the states. Expect killer direct support the entire tour such as Jenny Lewis, Tennis, Phosphorescent, Hamilton Leithauser, Adam Green, Weyes Blood, and so many more.

Watch Father John Misty Perform a New Song on Adult Swim

American singer-songwriter Father John Misty, has been a man of many faces while receiving offers from just about anyone and everyone. Mister Misty has been working with Adult Swim to premiere a new comedic track titled "This Is America" on the television series Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio.

The new song is literally a musical list of different silly ways Americans tend to pass away. Brad Neely has previously had musical guests including André 3000 and now the Father John Misty episode is scheduled to air this coming Sunday, September 18th at 11:45 PM EST. Last night Father John Misty made his debut live performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The intimate singer/songwriter that was formerly known as the drummer of Fleet Foxes, performed the track "Holy Shit" off of his second studio album I Love You, Honeybear.

Father John has absolutely blown up this past year from guest features in Aziz Ansari's Original Netflix series Master of None to international coverage and successful tours leading him to his all around bookings for the upcoming festival season.
