Father John Misty Releases "Leaving LA" Music Video

American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Father John Misty, released a new music video for his thirteen minute track, "Leaving LA", on his third studio album Pure Comedy released at the beginning of the year via Sub Pop Records.

The new visual features Josh Tillman along with fellow string instrumentalists, performing the intimate song in a black and white studio setting. "Leaving LA" hits home with many people I personally know moving to the holy ground of Los Angeles and after quite some time, growing old of the people and somewhat tired of the environment after find success.

Filmed and edited by Grant James, it's time you experience the world of Father John Misty below and sooth your soul with some of the most honest tunes out today.

Watch U2 Perform On Saturday Night Live

Irish rock phenomenons, U2, returned to the Saturday Night Live stage last night in support of their fourteenth studio album, Songs of Experience, released this past Friday December 1st via Interscope Records.

U2 performed "American Soul" which is a new rendition of their track "XXX" featured on Kendrick Lamar's recent album, DAMN.  Although Lamar did not appear on SNL, they had an inspirational intro where Kendrick spoke on Americans and modern society standing up for themselves.

U2 also rocked SNL with my favorite track on the record, "Get Out Of Your Own Way", which explains the notion that we are our biggest critics and it's important to overcome the fear of putting yourself out there and to literally get out of your own way to make your personal goals, dreams, and ambitions come true.

Watch U2 with Bono and a megaphone perform two brand new songs below and be sure to pick up their new record, Songs of Experience everywhere today!

The Orwells Share Two New Tracks

These guys have provided a charismatic sense to new age rock and roll, where you get the old school sound you've been searching for with millennial vibe of not simply not caring.

We were lucky enough to catch The Orwells for the first time at Bonnaroo 2014 in a small Miller Lite tent, where the crowd was quite literally losing their minds. It's refreshing to see The Orwells progressing as the two new tracks, "Vanilla" and "What's So Entertaining" will be featured on their upcoming B-Sides release.

Dirty Projectors Release "Up In Hudson" Music VIdeo

American experimental indie band, Dirty Projectors, have shared an adventurous new music video for a track featured on their recent self-titled seventh studio album, released back in February via Domino Records.

"Up In Hudson" is nearly eight minutes long and provides the exotic melodic sound we all know and miss from Dirty Projectors. The new visual provides an extraordinary look at the colorful tune, following a variety of couples during remarkable points of their lives.

Encyclopedia Pictura, describes it as a way, “To unite our characters as we weave through their stories, we tried to present their vulnerabilities in a surreal way, right on the surface, in their faces. Through four very different couples, the arc of a relationship is portrayed in its stages of growth, death, and rebirth".
