Phoenix also worked with heavy hitters Jason Schwartzman, Paul Shaffer, and David Johansen (Buster Johansen) to make this possible.

Phoenix release "Alone on Christmas Day", a cover of a long-lost Beach Boys holiday track from 1979 that was never formally released. Phoenix's version features a little help from Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, former "Letterman" musical director Paul Shaffer, and New York Dolls' David Johansen, and appears in the Netflix original holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas, directed by Sofia Coppola.
