Hometeam New Years Rally Is A Must Go!

The four day and night Hometeam New Years Rally took place this past New Years weekend at Maddox Ranch in Lakeland, Florida. The fourth annual music and art festival was nothing short of a love spreading, art welcoming, music extravaganza.

From a crowd that will literally give you the shirt off their back to the mind blowing music performances, we highly suggest that you experience a new year with Hometeam in the near future! We had the extraordinary pleasure of attending and covering the event and here are some of our favorite highlights.

The Corbitt Brothers Band, a Florida based group from Jacksonville has a unique and powerful way of performing to their audience. With a few guest musicians and extensive jams, The Corbitt Brothers Band brought major energy and the thunder during the day Saturday.

The band also completely surprised us when they granted free beverages (beers) to anyone that was up for the good time! Florida natives, make sure to catch these guys for an epic live party.

Every single artist that performed clearly had a very distinctive passion for playing music and specifically made it well known that they were all more than happy to be celebrating New Years on the ranch.

Hometeam New Years Rally is more than a camping event, it's an intimate good vibe music and arts gathering that kept the crowd in tact with the fact that with a new year also comes a number of countless possibilities. We had a grand time and were happy to see some of the rally's previous alumni The Applebutter Express and new headliners, The Werks who brought the heat for an almost two and a half hour set Saturday night. The Werks also hold their own annual event called The Werk Out Music and Arts Festival in Thronville, Ohio.

Hometeam successfully provided a number Florida heavy hitting acts such as The Heavy Pets and Roosevelt Collier Trio who both performed Friday evening. Maddox Ranch is a friendly environment for you, your friends, children, parents, and/or grandparents. Hometeam New Years Rally was nothing short of a breathtaking time and we are still excited to have attended such an amiable event.

This has been such a relieving fun way to enter the new year and is 100% a go to festival for all of you music lovers out there. A huge THANK YOU to Hometeam New Years Rally, Viking Guy Productions, Intentcity Tee Shirts, Organic Vision Presents and everyone else who made this new year run a true Holiday of Music.

LCD Soundsystem Plan 2016 Reunion

Four years, it has taken New York based LCD Soundsystem to get back into the swing of things. After reportedly ending the LCD Soundsystem movement in 2011 at the Madison Square Garden, James Murphy, frontman of the band has decided to finally reunite.

On Christmas Eve, Murphy presented the first recorded LCD Soundsystem track in nearly five years. The song is titled "Christmas Will Break Your Heart" and is available for download and streaming everywhere.

Although an official 2016 has not been announced, it is heavily rumored that the band's comeback will be with an extensive U.S. tour and headlining dates at iconic American festivals such as Coachella and Bonnaroo. Stay tuned for what is to come of the band and be ready for an epic 2016!
