LCD Soundsystem Earns First No. 1 Album

Brooklyn based experimental legends, LCD Soundsystem, have just released their fifth studio album titled American Dream. The anticipated record had a great deal of hype, as front man James Murphy just fulfilled his biggest dream of having an album go Number 1.

American Dream has 10 studio tracks that all give the exact feeling LCD is heavily known for. You can get loose, be intuitive, and find yourself all at the same time while listening to this eclectic album. The reasoning behind the band's reunion and return into industry was to fulfill their No. 1 Billboard album goal and today they've made it official.

The record was released last Friday September 1st, 2017 via DFA and Columbia Records, and sold an equivalent to 85,000 albums, 81,000 of which were traditional album sales. Nowadays, this an outstanding accomplishment.

Experience LCD Soundsystem perform BACK TO BACK nights at James L. Knight Center in Miami brought to you by our dear friends at III Points. For now, take a look into the world of American Dream with the recent music video "tonite".
