Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival Welcomes Phase 2 Lineup

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival are back in full force with their third annual celebration of music, love, and community March 1st - 4th at the infamous Sunshine Grove grounds in Okeechobee, Florida. Today, Soundslinger and Okeechobee organizers welcomed their Phase 2 lineup plans!

We're beyond excited to see Okee share most of their final adjustments to their lineup at such an early time. First and foremost, the PoWow! Superjam lead artist will be our favorite west side hip hop legend, Snoop Dogg! This PoWow will also feature a number of artists already performing, and a few that will be a complete surprise for us all!

Okeechobee went over their heads with huge additions including Lil Dicky, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Ski Mask The Slump God, Liquid Stranger, The Funk Meters, Chet Porter, Thriftworks, Johnny OZ, Subtronics B2B Dirt Monkey, and seriously so much more. Macklemore and Kesha Announce Summer Tour

Seattle based hip hop artist, Macklemore, and pop guru, Kesha, have just announced a co-headlining full U.S. tour taking place in the summer of 2018. Macklemore and Kesha will be hitting the road for nearly two months, ending their run in Tampa and Miami of our home state, Florida.

The two recently joined forces on Macklemore's track "Good Old Days" which appeared on his second solo album, Gemini, released in September via Bendo Records. The upcoming tour is titled Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore, as you can see them both playfully reveal their anticipated traveling plans below. 

Proceeds to Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore, include $1 of every ticket sale going towards a benefit charity to each of their personal choosing. Kesha will be donating toward the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (RAINN), while Macklemore has chosen to donate to PLUS1, an organization that focuses on engaging audiences, effecting change, and advancing racial and social injustice.

Miguel and Travis Scott Perform On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Los Angeles based singer-songwriter, Miguel, performed his recent hit "Sky Walker" on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night with the help of featured artist, Travis Scott. Miguel recently released his fourth studio album, War & Leisure, this past Friday December 1st via RCA Records and is currently pushing his first week sales.

Miguel is an artist who's music ranges in a variety of genres while successfully allowing the listener to get in their feels. We had the pleasure of seeing Miguel on multiple occasions at the inaugural Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival. He played the artist at large roll, popping into multiple sets including a once in a lifetime Superjam with Mumford and Sons, Hall & Oates, Win Butler of Arcade Fire, and many more.

Fleet Foxes Announce Spring U.S. Tour

Indie-folk legends, Fleet Foxes, are finally embarking on an east coast U.S. tour this upcoming Spring of 2018. After a long awaited hiatus, Fleet Foxes recently released their third studio album, Crack-Up, back in June via Nonesuch Records.

I'm personally absolutely ecstatic to see the moving artists begin their first leg of the tour in our home state, Florida, performing a total of four cities Tampa, St. Augustine, Orlando, and Miami. With their recent revival, Fleet Foxes have picked up right where they left off, headlining a number of international festivals bringing their soothing yet magical sound to the public one country at a time. 

For us Floridians, this will be a tough decision to make between Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival which take place during the same exact time as the currently booked dates March 1st - 4th. Tickets will be going on sale THIS Friday December 8th at 10:00 AM EST everywhere, so regardless of which events you will be attending, Fleet Foxes will certainly SELL OUT.
